A Whole Other You

You give your inner critic the mic?!

That can distort you and block you from seeing the perfection that is you. Much of the sewage of recycled ideas that your inner critic repeats comes from social expectations that have nothing, absolutely nothing to do with who you are and why you exist.

The criticism can lead you to deny the fascinating being that you are of the oxygen it needs to thrive. You can deal with this negativity by overriding the critic with language that affirms you. A great side benefit of this is that you begin to think more highly of other people as you speak admiringly of yourself. This approval extends not only to people you may regularly see, like a partner, a parent, a sibling, or a child but to everyone from clients, celebrities, and political figures. You’ll even find yourself chuckling to yourself whenever someone is trolling you.

I cannot emphasize the importance of releasing people from your inner critic’s judgment. Regenerative energy comes, sometimes in waves, from the people your critic has blockaded.

Let the beautiful you have center stage. Then the breeze of discoveries will breathe upon beautiful you and also beautiful others.
