Tell Somebody, “Thank You!”
As a child, we learned certain foods were good for the brain. Some of them I especially enjoy, like salmon and nuts. I think children should also know that there is a non-food supplement for the brain.
Research coming out of UCLA's Mindfulness Awareness Research Center tells us that having an attitude of gratitude changes the brain's molecular structure, keeps gray matter functioning, and makes us healthier and happier. When you feel happiness, the central nervous system is affected. You are more peaceful, less reactive, and less resistant.
We restore our central nervous system, our brains, and our spinal cords with the medicine of thankfulness.
Please don’t take a single person for granted today, even if you’re paying (like a plumber or mechanic).
