Our Salvation

Emphasis on “our,” we appreciate communal salvation. Rejecting the fallacious morality of hyper-individualism and individual importance, we are only saved in the community.

All of this flies in the face of civil religion’s “personal savior” ethic. Jesus never appointed/sent a person without at least one other person to help demonstrate that our life is a life together. If we eschew togetherness, we “lose our salvation.”

We really need to inspire and strengthen one another. Who doesn’t get into their feelings sometimes?

We are being transformed but not without company.
