Party Like It’s 2022
Our country has detained us and tried to contain us. We are the source of the United States’ embarrassment. We are often unheard because we are unseen.
Still, Black Love is so great that after all the mistreatment, we have the mandate to help.
This weekend we will party. Why? Because we are realizing our own power. Black Power. Power to do good. This weekend we will party like it’s 2022. And guess what? Everyone is welcome to this joy, but I remind you that you cannot have Black Joy without first knowing Black Sorrow. When the society can see and hear us, they will see and hear disabled persons, elders, migrants, our LGBTQ+ family, and, last but first, Indigenous people.
