Your Support System Will Find You

Sometimes we don’t want anyone around us, but we know that it’s really that we are selective about whom can be around us. You really would like someone to bounce things off of, someone to love, someone who hears your heartbeat, someone who gets you.

We are all met with challenges, but challenges also have to meet us. Some seasons are ordained to be spent in isolation, but those periods are temporary. Don’t resist them. We are designed for interdependence. If you feel like you can’t do the work alone, there is nothing about those feelings that should exasperate you.

You feel a bit lost and lonely as you extract yourself from static, even backward-moving communities. Rest assured that those whom you can call your people will find you. If necessary, they will come to your rescue. By coming to your rescue, they recruit you to be part of a partnership or community that rescues.

As you receive your people, you will find the relationships that strengthen you to face the people who only think they have found their purpose, people who don’t realize that they, like their eggs, can be cage-free.

Look more closely: to the message showing up on your phone. You are invited to coffee. Somebody is looking to you for wisdom. Love this. They will not be the people you expected in a previous life, because then you didn’t know whom to expect. Maybe you were distracted by the glitz.
