Speaking Power to Truth

I think we understand that Russian State Media are not the only entities prioritizing diversion over journalism. Journalists worldwide pay a high price to report the truth, but it's all too common that news organizations have agendas that are more important than truth. In many cases, profit is king, and therefore what we see is clickbait. 

Clickbait news is not just entertainment. It is the intentional avoidance, obscuring, or spinning of the report. We must remain valiant researchers and skeptical consumers. According to Pew Research Center, most Americans either get their news "sometimes" or "often" from social media. Facebook is the most popular social media site where American adults get their information.

Power is mainly threatened by truth, which means it is sustained by deception. Power can take away everything you have if you live in truth. If, however, you choose power, then the only thing that gets taken from you is your soul.
