Put It Out to the Universe

“And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” (1 John 5:14) This verse tells us that there is cosmic intentionality.

So look first for God’s Intended Reality.

Bibles say, “Seek first the kingdom of God,” and I sometimes prefer a less-gendered way of reading the words of the Human One (Son of Man). “Kingdom” to some may suggest a patriarchal domain, so thus, “Intended Reality.”

With or without words, to pray is to live in harmony with cosmic intentionality. God loves Godself (why else would She want us to love our neighbor as ourselves?) We’ve been invited to participate in something grand.

It is only grand because it is love.
