Thank Ya!!!

It wasn’t church until somebody raised a loud, “Thank ya!!!”

We gathered for robust singing with a preacher who was a flamethrower of hope. Then someone danced their way to the front of the church house with the backing of the Hammond B3 organ and wild piano-playing. Women played tambourines like they were magicians.

It is euphoria. Nothing compares.

Today I hope you get a chance to get your shout on. If you are going to express gratitude, do it flamboyantly.

God has been too good to you for you not to.

Lord, you are my God;

for in perfect faithfulness
